Participants will examine how accounting practices influence economic stability and institutional integrity across the member states. The event serves as a platform for practitioners to address standards and regulatory frameworks affecting the regional market.

Among the total registrants, 130 participants are from Bénin.

Oecca-Bénin Anniversary and Vision

The 8th UEMOA Chartered Accountants Congress also marks the twentieth anniversary of the Ordre des Experts-Comptables et Comptables Agréés du Bénin (Oecca-Bénin). Serge Mensah, president of the Council of Oecca-Bénin, noted: "C’est un honneur pour notre profession compte tenu du dynamisme que nous avons pu maintenir sur la décennie."

Reflecting on the organization's trajectory and future objectives, Serge Mensah stated: "Il doit surtout être celui de l’ambition. These remarks reflect the organization’s current focus on evolving professional standards and increasing its influence within the broader UEMOA economic environment. The anniversary serves as a focal point for the congress proceedings, linking historical milestones to the future development of accounting practices across the region.
